The Bobby Moore Fund was set up in 1993 in memory of world cup winning captain, Bobby Moore, to fundraise for life-saving bowel cancer research. It has since raised over £28m and mortality rates for bowel cancer have fallen by more than 30%.
They are supported by Cancer Research UK, the Iron’s front of shirt partner and members of the first team squad have signed a Football Shirt Friday t-shirt which is up for auction on the official club ebay page here. All proceeds will be donated to the Bobby Moore Fund.
