The Iron Under-23 side’s remaining Central League matches in the 2020-21 season have been cancelled by mutual agreement.
United had four games to play in the group stage of the competition against Salford City, Walsall (twice) and Grimsby Town, respectively.
Russ Wilcox’s side were due to play the Ammies away from home on Wednesday before both hosting and travelling to the Saddlers on consecutive Tuesdays at the end of March, while the match against the Mariners hadn’t been rearranged since it was postponed on February 9th.
All the respective clubs involved have agreed that these fixtures will now not be played.
