The Iron will travel to face Barton Town in their opening pre-season friendly on Saturday, July 10, 2021.
The match, which will be played at the Easy Buy Stadium, will kick-off at 3pm.
Neil Cox will take his team to the Northern Counties East League Premier Division side for their opening warm-up encounter a little over a week following their return to training.
It'll be the first time that Scunthorpe's first team have faced the Swans in pre-season for a number of years, although our youth team have taken a team to Marsh Lane for each of the last three seasons. Before that, our academy side also faced Barton Town in three consecutive seasons in 2011, 2012 and 2013, and prior to that in 2007.
