After a review of the business operations following the pandemic, the decision to operate revised opening hours of the shop and ticket office has been confirmed.
The new hours will come into effect from Thursday July 1st and are as follows.
Monday – 10am until 4pm
Tuesday – 10am until 4pm (until kick-off on midweek matchdays)
Wednesday – Closed
Thursday – 10am until 4pm
Friday – 10am until 4pm
Saturday matchday – 11am until 5pm
Saturday non-matchday – Closed
Sunday – Closed
Supporters who have been to the club shop in recent weeks will have noticed a change in the service point with the ticket and retail service points now combined during the week.
Unfortunately, because of the changes to the business, we are disappointed to have to announce that long serving employee Pearl Chesterton will be taking voluntary redundancy. Pearl has served in several different roles during her 18 years’ service, most recently as Shop Manager and is well-known by many supporters who she has got to know over the years.
Pearl commented: “It was a very difficult decision to leave the club having worked here for so many years. I have got to know many of the supporters and made many friends with them and all the staff and players over my time here. I’ve had a great time and will take many happy memories with me.”
Although Pearl will be leaving her full-time position, it is not the end of her ties with the club as she is set to continue helping the club on matchdays.
She added: “I’m leaving the role on good terms and I am pleased I will still be involved in some capacity, so I will still be seeing many of my customers on a matchday and stay involved in the club I am very fond of.”
Everyone at the football club would like to place on record their thanks to Pearl for her hard work over the years.
The ticket office and shop will be open on Wednesday 30th June from 10am until 4pm for the Advance Price Season Ticket deadline, with the new opening hours come into place on Thursday 1st July.
