The Iron will face AFC Wimbledon on Saturday, July 31st, making their first trip to the Dons' new home, which opened in 2020.
Neil Cox will take his side to the capital to face the side he was assistant manager at between 2012 and 2018.
The two teams last met in the 2018-19 campaign, with the sides winning their away fixtures on that occasion. Josh Morris (two) and Ike Ugbo scored for the Iron at Kingsmeadow in the 3-2 win, while Lee Novak netted at the Sands Venue Stadium in the 2-1 defeat in the reverse fixture.
Cox was in the opposition dugout for both meetings in the previous year, with both ending in a 1-1 draw.
It is still to be decided by AFC Wimbledon whether away fans will be able to access the game. As soon as we have further news, we will announce.
