Scunthorpe United can confirm that the away pre-season friendly against Farsley Celtic, scheduled for Saturday, July 17th, has been cancelled as a precautionary measure due to a suspected positive case of Covid-19 in the Iron squad.
The safety, health and well-being of the players, staff and supporters of both teams was paramount in taking the decision to call off the match.
All other pre-season friendlies are expected to go ahead as planned, and the next game sees us host Burton Albion on Tuesday, July 20th (7.30pm kick-off).
