The 22-year-old joined the League One side on Transfer Deadline Day last January from Championship club Reading.
Howe spent all of his career at the Royals before joining the Bloomfield Road club. He made five cup appearances for the Royals in the 2019-20 season.
He's made two appearances for the Seasiders so far this campaign.
