Iron first-year professional Harry Jessop has joined Northern Premier League Division One North West side Pickering Town on loan for an initial month.
The 18-year-old links up with Steve Roberts’ men to get extra game time, but the nature of the loan and the level of the Mill Lane side means he will still be eligible to play with the Under-23s side.
He could make his debut on Tuesday night when the Pikes take on Ossett United.
