The Iron's odds to win the FIFA Ultimate Quaran-Team tournament were slashed from 50/1 to 16/1 following the Round of 128 win on Sunday.

Scunthorpe beat Charlton Athletic 2-1 after an original draw and two technical difficulties, one of which with the score at 0-0 and the other with United in a commanding 3-1 lead with only 20 minutes left on the clock.

Nevertheless, the side came from 1-0 down in the fourth game to win 2-1, with the winning goal coming in the 91st minute.

As a result, the Iron can now be backed with shorter odds going into the last-64, with the side yet to learn their latest opponent.

Meanwhile, it has been confirmed the side will compete against FC Emmen from the Dutch Eredivisie for a place in the final 32 in the competition, with the side currently 80/1 with Sky Bet, despite winning 10-0 in the first round.

Odds are not yet available for the game in question, but there are accumulators for the remaining Round of 128 ties being played today.

We are thankful to everyone who has already been so kind during this difficult period. Your money will help to raise vital funding for EFL clubs who are going to have massive financial struggles (as of course will many industries across the world) during this time of fixture postponement. With no match day income for the foreseeable future football clubs are struggling and things will only get worse.

If this cause can play a small way for clubs going during an unprecedented time, then it would be an amazing force for good. 75% of money raised will be given to the EFL within 28 days.

Secondly, the remaining 25% will be split between for two very worthy causes. One is the EFL’s chosen charity ‘MIND’ (219830), and secondly in funding the all-important COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fundraiser by WHO.
