ICYMI: Drive-In Cinema at the Sands Venue Stadium this July

Powered by Adventure Cinema, Scunthorpe United’s Sands Venue Stadium will feature as part of the UK’s biggest drive-in cinema tour this summer.

This summer, friends and family are invited to enjoy outdoor screenings of their favourite films, new and old, from the safety and comfort of their cars. With 80s classics including Dirty Dancing, Back to the Future and The Blues Brothers, to family favourites such as The Lion King, and some of last year’s best releases (Joker and Knives Out) there’s something for everyone at Adventure Drive-In.

Adventure Drive-In is a new series powered by Adventure Cinema, an events company that has specialised in bringing outdoor cinema experiences to unique venues across the UK for the last three years. One of the biggest companies of its kind in the UK, Adventure Cinema hosted over 120 large scale events in 2019.

To ensure the safety of its events, a number of measures will be put in place so that all Adventure Drive-In events are social distance friendly, including having plenty of space between parked cars and entry scanned via registration plates on vehicles to avoid contact with staff. Guests can bring their own food, snacks and drinks to enjoy from the comfort of their seats, with full view of the huge LED screens.

Ben Lovell, Co-Director, Adventure Drive-In, commented: “We are extremely excited to launch our Adventure Drive-In tour and feel that ‘Drive-In’ offers the perfect solution for events when social distancing is required. We’ll be using our breadth of experience from the last three years within outdoor cinema creating a memorable experience for all those who attend."

Tickets for Adventure Drive-In are priced at £27.50 + Booking fee and are available now by clicking here.

Adventure Cinema say ticket holders will be given a 100 per cent money-back guarantee should anything mean that the events cannot go ahead.
