Scunthorpe United is delighted to have signed midfielder Ben Liddle on loan from Middlesbrough, subject to EFL and FA ratification.
The 21-year-old signed his first professional contract with Boro during the summer of 2016, and has enjoyed previous loan spells at Blyth Spartans and Forest Green Rovers.
He’s made two appearances for Boro so far, starting in the FA Cup third round replay at Tottenham Hotspur earlier this month and also coming on as a substitute against Leeds United.
The highly-rated central midfielder, who will take the No 43 shirt, has been a regular on the substitutes’ bench for the Championship side this season.
