Iron evens to beat Leicester City Under-21s

24 September 2019

The Iron can be backed at 1/1 with Sky Bet to beat Leicester City's Under-21s and progress to the next stage of the Trophy.

The Foxes are 85/40 to get three points on the board of Group A, while a draw after 90 minutes is 13/5.

The competition is in its third campaign in the current format with invited sides, yet the two teams lock horns at the Sands Venue Stadium for the second time.

Last time Leicester's development side came to North Lincolnshire, they had over £80m of talent on show and emerged with a 2-1 win to knock Scunthorpe out of the competition. A repeat scoreline is 9/1 while the Iron to get their revenge with the same 2-1 outcome is 13/2.

Kevin van Veen notched United's goal in that game back in 2017 and he is the side's top scorer in the competition on two goals. The Dutchman can be backed once more to get on the scoresheet.
