Striker Kevin van Veen has been nominated for the Sky Bet League Two player of the month award for October.
He faces competition from Eoin Doyle (Swindon Town), Otis Khan (Mansfield Town) and Ben Tozer (Cheltenham Town) for the award.
It comes after he scored twice during the month, in the win over Northampton Town and draw at Salford City, and played a part in the team earning eight points during October.
The winners will be announced by the EFL this Friday morning. The Sky Bet Manager of the Month judging panel comprises former Barnsley manager Danny Wilson, Sky Sports’ EFL expert Don Goodman; EFL Communications Director Mark Rowan, and Sky Bet EFL trader Ivor Davies.
