Scunthorpe United is delighted to announce the signing of Abo Eisa for an undisclosed fee from Shrewsbury Town, penning a two-year contract.

The 23-year-old attacker signed for the Shrews and turned professional while Iron boss Paul Hurst was manager there, after impressing during non-league stints at Uxbridge and Wealdstone. He originally played youth football for the Pro Touch Soccer Academy.

During the second half of last season, the Sudanese player enjoyed a loan stay at Colchester United in League Two, scoring twice in 14 appearances.

He has made 13 appearances for the Shrews to date, and netted on two occasions.
