Lee Collins will be the man in the middle for the Iron's away league clash against Bristol Rovers on Saturday.
The Surrey-based official will travel to the Memorial Stadium for his eighth game of the campaign and third in Sky Bet League One.
His first game of the campaign was Cheltenham Town's 3-1 away win at Northampton Town at the beginning of September in which he showed two yellow cards. Meanwhile, his latest encounter came came last weekend in the Emirates FA Cup as he oversaw Blackpool's 3-2 away triumph over Exeter City. Again, he issued two cautions.
He was last appointed to an Iron game in March 2016 for the away game at Shrewsbury Town, however a late reshuffling of officials saw him replaced by Trevor Kettle. He's taken charge of the Iron on three past occasions in total, most recently back in December 2015 when he took charge of the 1-1 away draw at Port Vale. He showed six yellow cards. In those four games, he's shown a total of nine yellows and no reds.
Meanwhile, he's refereed Bristol Rovers on seven occasions, most recently a 2-1 home win for Rovers back in March. He issued three yellow cards in the game. In total, while refereeing the Pirates, he's issued 22 yellow cards and no red cards.
In 2017-18, he took charge of 15 games, issuing 50 yellow cards and one red. So far in this campaign, he has officiated in seven encounters, showing 12 yellows and one red card.
On Saturday, he will be assisted by Marvyn Amphlett and Samuel Ogles, while Brett Huxtable has been appointed as the fourth official.
