The 26-year-old winger has played regularly since joining in the summer of 2016 and sealed his century with a win that secured the play-offs for the Iron.

Morris discussed his milestone appearance, the play-offs and the impact of the crowd in an interview with iFollow Iron

ON REACHING 100 APPEARANCES FOR THE IRON…
JM: It’s massive, especially to do it in two years. I’m quite proud of that accomplishment, I must admit. To keep myself fit and keep turning out every week is a big thing for me.

ON HOW MUCH IT MEANS TO HAVE HAD THE FAITH OF THE IRON MANAGERS…
JM: I’ve got to send out a big thanks to Graham (Alexander) for when he was here. It would be nice to keep that going and hopefully there is a lot more to come.

ON SECURING A PLAY-OFF PLACE…
JM: It is a big relief but it’s the aim that we set-up with at the start of the season. We want to do one better than we did last year and it’s a nice position to be in with a game to spare.

ON THE UPCOMING BRADFORD GAME…
JM: It is nice to know that we don’t need to go into the last game of the season and win. We are there now and the play-offs are going to be a lottery.

ON THE PERFORMANCE AGAINST PLYMOUTH…
JM: I thought that we were good last night. I think that we dominated them all over the pitch. It has helped playing at home with the atmosphere that we have here. It’s a good win for us. It was quite a high pressure game. Therefore, the experience that we had and the way that we approached the game helped. I think that the way that we played showed where we are as both a team and individuals as well.

ON THE ATMOSPHERE…
JM: There is nothing better than when the atmosphere is up. It lifts the players and lifts everyone really. We feed off them and they feed off of us so a great atmosphere is a big thing for us.

ON HOW GOOD IT FELT TO GET THE RESULT AS WELL AS A GREAT PERFORMANCE…
JM: At this stage of the season it’s about winning. Last night we played a lot better than we did against Walsall which keeps us in good stead for the play-offs. Hopefully, we can continue that now.

ON THE CONFIDENCE THAT CAN BE DRAWN FROM LAST NIGHT AHEAD OF THE PLAY-OFFS…
JM: We want to go into the play-offs winning and that’s what we have done so hopefully we can get the win on Saturday and keep the momentum going.

ON WHETHER UNITED HAVE HIT THEIR VEIN OF FORM AT THE RIGHT TIME…
JM: Definitely. A winning mentality is a massive help to any team going into the play-offs.

ON HOW IMPORTANT WHO THE IRON GET IN THE PLAY-OFFS IS…
JM: As the game goes on you don’t really want to think about that. You just want to put in a good performance, win and you’ll be where you will be. Whichever team we play will be a tough game and one that we are looking forward to.

ON WELCOMING HIS FORMER CLUB BRADFORD TO GLANFORD PARK…
JM: It will be nice to get one over on them, I must admit. It will be good to show people why I shouldn’t have been let go. We will approach that game on Thursday, have a chat to prepare and go from there.
