Clayton Lewis earns 15th New Zealand cap

5 June 2018

Midfielder Clayton Lewis earned his 15th cap for New Zealand as a 61st minute substitute in the All Whites' 1-0 victory over Chinese Taipei.

The cap is his fourth since joining the Iron last year after competing against Peru over two legs in a World Cup play-off decider before picking his third up against Canada in a friendly.

Lewis is currently with New Zealand in India as they compete in the HERO International Cup against Kenya, Chinese Taipei and India in their group stage.

The 21-year-old could be in line to claim cap number 16 on Thursday, June 7 as they play their final encounter (kick-off 3.30pm UK time).
