In the last few days, it has been brought to our attention that various posts have appeared on social media from an ex-Director of the Club, who left the Iron in 1999.
The same allegations were made in December 2016 by the same individual.
The allegations he makes are nothing whatsover to do with the Football Club, and the current posts on social media are being investigated by Humberside Police.
SUFC released a statement on 5 December 2016 (click here). The detail and advice remains exactly the same.
When these allegations were originally made, the current executive of the Club met with Humberside Police and Social Services to offer any assistance we could to help with any enquires. None was required.
The Police had a full and comprehensive file from 1999. The Police did comment that the incumbent Directors at that time had ran a good and thorough process.
The Football Club has no further comment to make.
