Scunthorpe United is delighted to announce the signing of the vastly experienced James Perch on a free transfer.
The 32-year-old midfielder has played 476 first team matches in his career and pens a two-year deal to join the Iron.
A former Nottingham Forest academy product, he made over 200 first team appearances for the Tricky Trees between 2004 and 2010.
Perch then moved to Newcastle United, where he was for three years and enjoyed Premier League football, appearing over 80 times for the Magpies.
A two-year spell followed with Wigan Athletic from 2013, making 95 appearances. He then moved on to Queens Park Rangers in 2015 for a three-year stay and played 79 times.
