Mark Heywood has been appointed as the referee for the Iron’s Sky Bet League One match at Glanford Park when Peterborough United visit.
He last refereed a Scunthorpe game back in March 2015 at Sheffield United. The Iron were defeated 4-0, with defender Miguel Llera being shown a red card following two yellows. Heywood handed out a further two yellow cards in that match.
Heywood has been the match official for eleven games this season, producing 41 yellow cards and two reds.
The assistant referees will be Stephen Wade and Peter Gooch, with Christopher Ward as the fourth official.
