The Iron can confirm Neal Bishop has signed a new one-year contract with the club.
The 35-year-old Stockton-born midfielder has agreed terms for his fourth campaign with United, after making a total of 137 appearances for us since 2014, scoring 11 goals.
Last season, Bishop made a total of 46 appearances in all competitions, netting five times across the campaign.
His time at the club has seen him reach 500 career appearances, along with the more recent milestone of 500 league appearances, which he hit against Coventry City on April 30.
