Defender Scott Laird has re-joined fellow League One side Walsall on loan until the end of the season.
The 28-year-old had been borrowed by the Saddlers from the end of August on an initial spell until the turn of the year, with his stay at the Banks's Stadium now extended until the end of the campaign.
Laird, who has made 39 appearances for the Iron since his switch from Preston in 2015, appeared 22 times for Walsall in his initial loan spell, netting three goals including a Boxing Day winner away at Port Vale.
The full-back returns to Jon Whitney's squad in time for their home encounter with league leaders Sheffield United on Saturday.
