Andy Haines will referee the Iron’s home clash with Peterborough United on Monday afternoon.

Haines has officiated 23 matches so far in the current campaign, producing 69 yellow cards and dismissing four players.

He was the man in the middle for three Iron matches last season, in games against Coventry City, Sheffield United and Burton Albion respectively.

Throughout the 2015-16 campaign, the official from Tyne & Wear refereed 27 fixtures and, in those, he cautioned 85 players and sent off five.

He’ll be joined on Monday by assistant referees Paul Marsden and Wayne Grunnill, with Declan Ford taking up the role of fourth official.
