Graham Salisbury will referee the Iron’s fixture with Walsall at Glanford Park on Tuesday night.
The official last officiated a United match back in November, when Graham Alexander’s men were victorious over Oldham Athletic.So far in the current campaign, Salisbury has taken charge of 27 encounters and, in those, he’s produced 85 yellow and five red cards.
Throughout the 2015-16 season, the referee officiated 35 games, cautioning 120 players and sending off eight.
He’ll be joined on Tuesday by assistant referees Gary Hilton and Alf Greenwood, with Anthony Tankard taking up the role of fourth official.
