SALISBURY TO REFEREE OXFORD HOME CLASH

25 November 2016

Michael Salisbury will referee the Iron’s home clash with Oxford United at Glanford Park on Saturday.

Salisbury has already taken charge of one Scunthorpe match so far this season, when Graham Alexander’s men were 4-1 victors away at Walsall.

Throughout the current campaign, the official has officiated 14 games and, in those, he’s produced 49 yellow and five red cards.

Last season, Salisbury refereed 20 fixtures, cautioning 25 players and dismissing three.

He’ll be joined on Saturday by assistant referees Geoffrey Liddle and Andrew Newbold, with Mark Dwyer taking up the role of fourth official.
