MADLEY TO REFEREE BOLTON CLASH

30 December 2016

Andrew Madley will referee the Iron’s away fixture with Bolton Wanderers on New Year’s Eve at the Macron Stadium.

The West Yorkshire official has already officiated one Scunthorpe match so far this season, as United defeated Middlesborough 2-1 in the Checkatrade Trophy.

In the current campaign, Madley has been the man in the middle on 23 occasions, producing 68 yellow cards and dismissing two players.

Throughout the 2015-16 season, Madley officiated 40 matches, cautioning 118 players and dismissing three.

He’ll be joined on Saturday by assistant referees James Wilson and Mark Dwyer, with Jeremy Simpson taking up the role of fourth official.
