NEW DEAL SIGNED BY HOWE

21 May 2014

Iron centre-half Callum Howe has signed a new one-year deal with the club.

The Doncaster born defender has spent all of his career with the Iron, even though he is still waiting to make his professional debut for the club.

Howe, who is the captain of United's reserve team, spent the majority of last season out on loan at Gainsborough Trinity.

The 20-year-old is highly rated by manager Russ Wilcox and he has been tipped as a player for the future.

As a product of United's academy, Howe joins a long list of players to have made the step up from the development squad to the first team.
