Iron youngster Levi Sutton has joined National League side North Ferriby United on a one-month loan deal. The central midfielder, who has deputised at right-back for United this season, links up with team-mate Kyle Wootton, who is also on loan there.

He goes into a side which includes former academy products Curtis Bateson and Taron Hare and ex-loan goalkeeper Rory Watson.

The 20-year-old has made five appearances in total for the club, including four this season.

His full league debut came in October, in the 3-0 away win over Chesterfield, when he was drafted into the side following the injuries of Scott Wiseman and Jordan Clarke.

He also featured a week later in Scunthorpe's 4-1 triumph over Swindon Town - a whole seven months after his professional debut in a 6-0 rout against the same opposition.

Sutton joins up with Steve Housham's side ahead of their away encounter against Solihull Moors at Damson Park.
