Scunthorpe United Football Club is pleased to announce the appointment of Sue Rands as a Vice President of the club.

Chief Executive Officer and Solicitor at Rands Solicitors, Sue has been a long-standing and highly valued supporter of Scunthorpe United, demonstrating commitment to the club and the local community over many years. Her passion for the Iron, combined with her dedication to supporting the club both on and off the pitch, makes her a fitting addition to the Vice Presidential team.

With a career spanning over 30 years in the legal industry, Sue brings a wealth of experience and expertise and has a track record of organisational growth, and is known for her strategic and forward-thinking approach.

Following her appointment, Sue said: "I am honoured to accept the role of Vice President of Scunthorpe United. I am Scunthorpe born and bred and the daughter of a steelworker. The club has a proud history, a passionate community, and a clear commitment to excellence both on and off the pitch.

“I look forward to working closely with everyone associated with the football club, including supporters, to build on our achievements and continue moving the club forward. Together, we will focus on growth, teamwork and integrity while striving for success in every competition we enter.

Meanwhile, Michelle added: “We’re delighted to welcome Sue on board as a Vice President. Sue is a well-respected and experienced businesswoman in the local area and she will bring a wealth of knowledge and commitment to the role.
