Setting up for the afternoon of March 14th in one of the huts outside the Attis Arena for our Community Day; Eloise, Ryan and David met with many fans for friendly chats and some interesting queries.

Below is a summary of comments/queries raised at the time and answers now received from the club.

TOPICQUERY / COMMENT RAISEDCLUB RESPONSE
1CommercialUtility warehouse man - wants to discuss with the club about having his QR code for people to sign up to, which can be done as a business account which means the club will get 50% of the commission from anyone who signs up from it. Glyn Sparks already aware and it is a commercial issue for him to pursue direct with enquirer.
2MatchdayIdeas to get the 16-25 crowd down to the ground earlier - pre-game activities, suggestion of ‘darts football’, pay to play, prizes such as % in the club shop? The club would encourage the Iron Foundation to do more but most of the personnel coach other teams etc. They do have a darts game; but experience to date has been that revenue is low even on a Community Day, but something to aim for as part of a fan zone
3TicketingSeason tickets - can seats be stickered? Suggestion to pay an additional cost on top of the price of the season ticket so it’s an option? The club talking to a company who is wanting to do this – there is potential if it can work for the club
4StadiumNeed more waste bins.Agreed more to be placed outside the Iron Bar.
5StadiumUpdate on Fan ZoneA Fan Zone was in place for the Altrincham game and a marquee will be up for the Hartlepool and Brackley games. A fan zone is something the club is working on in terms of funding and how it will work for the future. This is an ongoing and lengthy process as it will alter the dynamic of car parking and also potentially pedestrianising the whole area outside the Iron Bar, depending on the location of it.
6StadiumBarriers at the end of the game not actually stopping people from walking through the traffic. People are moving the barriers so just walking anywhere. This is getting attention from Stadium management.
7MatchdayCan half time scores announced again or put on the scoreboard? If there is a real desire this can be arranged but has to fit in amongst a full schedule of other things at half time.
