Scunthorpe United can confirm the loan departure of versatile midfielder Max Brogan, who joins Northern Premier League side Cleethorpes Town on a 28-day loan deal.
After joining United in the summer of 2024 on an initial one-year deal, Brogan would see the option in his contract activated in the summer, extending his spell at the club for the 2025-26 season.
Since he arrived from Solihull Moors, Brogan has made 32 appearances for the club, scoring twice, with his goals coming either side of his loan spell with Telford United earlier this year, during which he gained promotion twice in the same season with both the Iron and the Bucks.
So far this season, Max has been made to be patient for opportunities, playing the majority of his games in the National League Cup. As a result, this loan spell with the Owls will provide him with the perfect grounds to gain some regular minutes in the league, with Cleethorpes pushing for a play-off spot at the time of writing.
All the best, Max!
