The Vanarama National League's media release...
Scunthorpe United booked their place in the Promotion Final with a comfortable win over Chorley at the Attis Arena.
Two Danny Whitehall goals had the Iron on their way before Callum Roberts and Carlton Ubaezuonu added the gloss.
Chester went behind in their semi-final at Kidderminster Harriers as Declan Weeks came back to haunt his former club to score the winner – that after the Seals triumphed in extra time against Buxton in their eliminator.
The Vanarama National League North Promotion Final will be hosted at the Attis Arena and will get underway from 4pm on Sunday 18 May.
In the Vanarama National League South, Boreham Wood completed an astonishing comeback win against Dorking Wanderers in their eliminator.
The Wood were 3-1 down with seven minutes left and somehow won 4-3 thanks to Femi Ilesanmi’s late winner. They then went down to runners-up Torquay United and won courtesy of a Matt Rush strike to book their place.
Maidstone United did something no other side this season has done and won at Eastbourne Borough to get here. Aaron Blair hit a last-gasp winner there after they’d already been to Worthing and won in their eliminator.
The Vanarama National League South Promotion Final will be hosted at the Mangata Pay UK Stadium Meadow Park and will get underway from 12.30pm on Sunday 18 May.
Both games will be streamed live on National League TV on DAZN – to watch these games and all other Vanarama National League play-off matches head to DAZN.com/NLTV.
