Scunthorpe United is delighted to have complete the signing of Norwich City attacking midfielder Flynn Clarke on loan until the end of the current National League North season.
The 21-year-old arrives at the Attis Arena following his three-year association with the EFL Championship side. After joining the Canaries from Peterborough United in 2021 for an undisclosed fee, Clarke went on to feature regularly for the Under-23s side.
Representing Scotland at Under-21 youth level, along with being selected at Under-19’s level, Clarke made his first youth appearance in 2022 when he scored the only goal for Scotland’s U21’s as his side went onto draw 1-1 with Northern Ireland.
During his time with Norwich, the attack-minded Clarke spent time on loan with Walsall in League Two, as well as spending the opening months of the current season on loan at National League side Dagenham and Redbridge for whom he made two appearances.
The midfielder has been training with the Iron for a number of weeks, and following being added to the squad, will now be available for selection.
