The Iron are back at Glanford Park this midweek, hosting South Shields under the lights on Tuesday, September 5th (7.45pm kick-off).
United go into the game after playing almost an entire game with 10 men at the weekend following Kian Scales' dismissal, although Scunthorpe still came out with a point after twice leading at Alfreton's the Impact Arena.

New signing Connor Smith could be in line to make his home debut on Tuesday night after being a used substitute at the weekend at Alfreton.
Kian Scales is eligible despite his red card at the weekend, with dismissals at this level not kicking in untul next weekend.
Richie Bennett is also eligible following his return to the club on Monday.
Captain Michael Clunan still sits out with his foot injury, while Alfie Beestin is nursing a hamstring injury.
South Shields have enjoyed a similar start to the season as the Iron and sit third, with only goal difference separating the two sides.
