IRON TEAM NEWS
Manager Jimmy Dean revealed midfielder Tom Pugh, who had suffered with a hamstring problem last week, should be available for contention against York.
Goalkeeper Aaron Chapman is out for the remainder of the season whilst Alfie Beestin (hamstring) and Marcus Carver (groin) continue to remain out through their respective injuries.
THE OPPOSITION
Older generation Iron supporters may remember old stadium Bootham Crescent, which the club left in 2021 after a 119-year stay.
With the move to the brand new 8,500 all-seater LNER Community Stadium, it’s the first time the Iron will sample its new turf in its form of a newly built ground as we chase victory on the road.
The North Yorkshire-based side currently sit in 18th place, with the Minstermen registering 11 wins and 9 draws from 39 games so far this season, totalling 42 points with seven games left to play.
York come into the game having faced similar title-chasing opponents away from home, like the Iron at Notts County, in the form of Wrexham on the weekend.
With a 3-0 loss on the road, York will be looking to bounce back similarly as the Iron after heavy defeats, with survival the ultimate goal for both sides.

THE OFFICIALS
The referee will be Scott Simpson, assisted by Reece Davies and Michael Johnson. The fourth official will be Luke Watson.
MATCHDAY DETAILS
Iron supporters will be based in the North Stand and West Stand Overflow (Blocks WI, WH, and WG) of the LNER Community Stadium, with turnstiles opening an hour-and-a-half before kick-off.
The car park opens at 5.30pm for those driving, with matchday parking spaces in the Monks Cross Park & Ride car park available to purchase by clicking here.
A full guide to parking around the LNER Community Stadium can be found here.
For supporters travelling through other means such as the train, or parking within the city centre for a pre-match experience (which is over an hour away from the stadium on foot), First York’s Y22 service operates two hours before kick-off alongside First’s service 9 from Stonebow.
Operating at frequent intervals from Stonebow, the Y22 service runs after the game as well (unlike service 9) until the ground is clear, up to 90 minutes after the full-time whistle, to help shuttle fans back towards the city.
Full details of the bus service and its ticketing can be found on First’s website by clicking here.
NATIONAL LEAGUE TV
The game against York City will be available to stream both domestically and internationally, with the respective home side’s commentary alongside the feed.
Supporters can subscribe here to start streaming National Division matches, including prior full match replays, which are hosted and can be watched, on National League TV for free.
To help the Iron profit, you need to nominate 'Scunthorpe United' as your club in the sign-up process.
