Taking place three days after the Iron host Doncaster Rovers, the match against the Tigers is also joined by a fixture against Burton Albion four days after.
The two sides last met in pre-season at Glanford Park in what will be almost two years to the day when a late Andy Cannon goal gave the visitors the marginal victory.
