The Iron will be looking for back-to-back wins in pre-season on Tuesday when they travel to face Northern Premier League Premier Division side Gainsborough Trinity (7.30pm kick-off).
Jimmy Dean takes his side to the Northolme looking for a second win of pre-season following a 3-0 victory away at Ilkeston at the weekend, where Cameron Wilson, Kian Scales and Callum Roberts all needed.
Previous to that, United had started pre-season with a 2-2 draw at Brigg Town CIC and a 1-0 defeat at Winterton Rangers.
The game comes two-and-a-half weeks ahead of the Iron's opening game of the Vanarama National League North season, which gets underway on Saturday, August 5th.
The referee for the game is David Jones, with his assistants Matthew Maddison and Shemakay Own.
For the Iron, it will be the first meeting between the two sides since the Lincolnshire Senior Cup Final in April 2022 with goals from Harvey Cribb and Alfie Beestin seeing Scunthorpe lift the trophy in a 2-1 win.
Tickets for the encounter will be £10 for adults, £5 for concessions and £2 for under-18s and can be purchased here.
Supporters can also pay on the turnstiles, but this is cash only.
