Iron defender Reagan Ogle has reflected on the week gone by and previewed this Saturday's rescheduled home fixture against Woking in the National League (3pm kick-off).

Reagan began by talking about his return to the team, following a period of injury: “It was good. I was a bit unfortunate with the past injury coming back, I think playing two games in quick succession caught up with me a bit. It’s nothing too serious though and it’s good to be back.”

On the injury itself, he said: “It was just a strain, or even less than that, just a bit of discomfort really. As a team we agreed that there was no point forcing it and spending more time out, so we just wanted to make sure it was right before being thrown back in.”

On his performance on Saturday, the Australian said: “I felt good. I think for me it was about getting minutes in my legs, and at that 70 minute mark, I was spent so I was ready to make way for Jai (Rowe) to come on and finish the job. We worked hard and all the boys put in a shift.”

He then went on to speak about the result itself, a 3-0 win: “They do say there’s nothing like winning and it’s true as we’ve had a great week this week and all the boys are in high spirits, so it’s done wonders for us for sure.”

He continued: “Watching the games that the boys played over the Christmas period, with Wrexham and Chesterfield for example, it showed that we put up a good fight but we were just unfortunate to let the games slip at the end. A win was definitely coming though and Saturday was well overdue and well deserved.”

Finally, he spoke about this weekend's opposition: “All the boys are up for the fight, they are every week no matter what the result. It adds a bit of fuel to the fire knowing we can go out there and win. We’ve proved to ourselves and proved to the fans now so we just have to go out there and do it again.”
