Iron midfielder Tom Pugh has had his loan to fellow Vanarama National League North side Hereford extended for a further month.

The 23-year-old Doncaster-born player, who has also been capped for Wales U21s, has made 68 appearances for the Iron so far in all competitions.

Formerly of Leeds United, he came through our Iron academy where he was skipper, with the tenacious midfielder being restricted to just four substitute appearances so far this season following an injury sustained in pre-season.

In his first month out on loan at Edgar Street, Tom made seven appearances (five starts, two from the bench), scoring one goal and adding one assist, along with man of the match accolades.

We wish Tom all the best for the next month in his loan spell away from Glanford Park.
