Following an opening day win, the Iron return to Glanford Park for back-to-back games, first welcoming Jimmy Dean's former side Peterborough Sports on Saturday, August 12th (3pm kick-off).
United go into the game six unbeaten following victories over Ilkeston Town, Gainsborough Trinity and Burton Albion, with draws against Doncaster Rovers and Hull City in pre-season prior to the win at Tamworth last weekend.
Scunthorpe will be looking for back-to-back wins for the first time since February 2021 when the Iron registered four triumphs on the trot in League Two.

IRON TEAM NEWS
Callum Roberts will undergo a scan on Monday to hopefully gain the all clear to return to modified training following his recent injury scare.
Max Kouogun started and played the full 90 minutes last weekend at Tamworth despite being labelled as a doubt with a hamstring injury.
THE OPPOSITION
The Turbines come into the game off the back of an opening day 1-0 home win over Scarborough Athletic.
They also ended pre-season with an impressive victory over League One side and their closest rivals Peterborough United. They also beat Corby Town 2-0 in pre-season, while suffering a 3-0 defeat against Stamford.
