Midfielder Josh Robertson featured for 70 minutes and helped his side Marske United to their first win of the campaign, as they triumphed 3-1 winners over Bamber bridge.
Robertson's fellow first year professional Harrison Poulter acquired his first goal for Neal Bishop's Gainsborough Trinity side on Tuesday night. His team also got their first win of the 2023-24 term as they ran out 4-0 winners against Guiseley.
Also featuring in this fixture was midfielder Habib Makanjoula, who is on a dual registration basis with the Holy Blues. After an inspiring performance by the Nigerian, he was presented the man of the match award on his first start for the club.
In other news, Ross Barrows’ Ilkeston Town side suffered their first defeat of the campaign at the hands FC United of Manchester. Barrows played the full 90 minutes as Ilkeston were beaten 1-0 at Broadhurst Park.
