IRON TEAM NEWS

Interim first team manager Tony Daws confirmed that Saturday will be too early for defender Reagan Ogle (back), but stated: “Reagan is making good progress, but he’s not at the stage where he’s fit enough to join in with training. Fingers crossed that might be next week or the week after.”

Joe Nuttall misses out due to a one-match suspension after accumulating five yellow cards so far this season.

Aiden Marsh (foot fracture), Liam Feeney, Jordan Hallam & Kgosi Nthle (hamstrings) will continue to miss out through their respective injuries.

THE OPPOSITION

Dagenham & Redbridge currently sit 11th in the Vanarama National League, registering seven wins out of 18 matches so far.

The Daggers took home an impressive 3-0 victory away from Solihull Moors last Saturday, with midfielder Matt Robinson netting twice.

Midfielder Robinson is also known as Grime artist Kamakaze alongside his football career, of which he is in his seventh season of playing for Dagenham.

2009-10 saw them promoted to League One, their highest playing division to date, after edging a play-off final 3-2 against Rotherham United at Wembley Stadium.

A point separated the Daggers in the final relegation spot and Walsall who clinched survival in the following season, with straight relegation back to League Two confirmed.

Their Football League status came to an end in 2016 after joining in 2007, finishing 23rd and being subsequently relegated to the National League after picking up eight wins.

Their best-placed National League finish followed in the 2016-17 season, ending the campaign in fourth but losing in the play-off semi-final to eventual winners Forest Green Rovers.
