Five members of the Iron squad visited the Disney Ward of Scunthorpe General Hospital on Friday afternoon.
Quintet Marcus Dewhurst, Owen Foster, Tom Pugh, Jai Rowe and Fin Shrimpton journeyed up to the hospital as part of the club's commitment to make an annual visit to spread some festive cheer.
The Iron have been big supporters of the Health Tree Foundation over the years, with the squad donating funds each year following a whip round, while United also raised £3,000 during lockdown following a Call of Duty: Warzone fundraiser.
This year was no different, with the five players delivering their latest donation to the Disney Ward on behalf of the squad and staff at the football club.
Additionally, United also left some individual gift bags for current inpatients on the ward, along with some extra for any youngster who unfortunately finds themselves on the ward over the Christmas period.
The Health Tree Foundation works in partnership with the Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust. The donation will play a small part in ensuring they can provide acute hospital and community services to a population of over 400,000 people across North and North East Lincolnshire and the East Riding of Yorkshire.
