What's on guide: Salford City (H)

12 November 2021

We've got plenty going on this Saturday for the home game against Salford City.

11.00am - Ticket Office and Club Shop opens
The Iron's ticket office is open from 11.00am on a Saturday matchday, so pop up and see us or call 01724 747670. Tickets can also be bought online 24/7 from www.sufctickets.com. Buy online before 12noon and you can get a saving on your match ticket too, though this discount doesn't apply to matchday ticket office purchases.

Our ticket office will also have Season Tickets and Iron Memberships on sale, plus tickets for all of November's remaining matches.

Our club shop is also open from 11.00am, selling this season's home, away and goalkeeper replica kits, training wear and much more! Visit www.sufcshop.com to see the full range online.

In addition, the shop will have the specially made kit to remember the life of former vice president and legendary goalkeeper Ray Clemence MBE on sale. There are limited edition versions available to buy in person or from the club shop HERE with all profits going to Prostate Cancer UK.

11.30am – The Iron Bar opens
Enjoy a pre-match drink and watch national football build-up on the screens in the supporters bar located at the rear of the Britcon Stand.

12noon - Car park opens
Costing £5 per car. Head to www.sufctickets.com before the new time of 11.15am on matchday to pre-book and make a £1 saving.

1.30pm - Activities get underway and turnstiles open
If you want to get your first glimpse of the pitch and sit in your seat, then turnstiles open at 1.30pm. At this time, you'll be able to visit our catering kiosks (menu here) and start to soak up the matchday atmosphere inside the Sands Venue Stadium. Our downloadable matchday programme and Junior Iron supplement will also help keep you entertained.

50/50 draw tickets will also be on sale! All sellers will be located in fixed locations in the stadium selling tickets at £1 each until kick-off, with exact money required to be paid into the bucket and no change available. 50 per cent of the net takings will make up the three prizes up to a maximum of £500. The draw will take place on the pitch at half-time with numbers announced over the PA system as well being published on the official website, social media and posters near some exits of the stadium. Should you be a lucky winner then please contact your nearest steward who will make contact to arrange the handover of the prize.

In addition, with it being the game where we remember Ray Clemence MBE, there will be Prostate Cancer UK bucket collectors around the stadium. Please give generously.

2.00pm - Team announcement
The Iron's team and the oppositon starting XI for the day will be announced on our official website and all our social media channels an hour before kick-off.

2.15pm - Tweet from your seat!
We're asking fans to tweet us at @SUFCOfficial with a picture of them in their seat. We'll share and retweet what we can, and also will try and put your photos in the next downloadable matchday programme.

2.20pm - Players warm-up
The players will prepare themselves for action from around 2.20pm. If you want to watch them get ready and give them a cheer, be in your seat by this time.

2.30pm - On-pitch matchday entertainment begins
Our PA announcer James Moody will emerge to talk everybody through the day's teams.

2.45pm - Teams go in
The teams will go in for their team talk at this time, so it's a great time for you to get settled into your seat.

2.55pm – The teams walk-out
Shout loud and shout proud as the players emerge from the tunnel for the pre-match walk-out ahead of kick-off.

Prior to kick-off, as we remember Ray Clemence MBE, there will also be a minute's applause to celebrate his life. See this link for more details of how we plan to remember Ray.

3.00pm - Kick-off!
And then the fun and games gets started! Can the Iron get the goals they need? It's time to find out!

3.45pm - Half-time
Our catering kiosks will be open, while PA announcer James Moody will run supporters through some of the half-time scores.

During the interval the Half Time Draw will be made on the side of the pitch, and announced to all over the tannoy and via our social media channels.

In addition, the Iron Triathlon returns with an Iron fan taking on a Salford follower in a trio of challenges.

4.00pm - Second-half gets underway!
Get behind the Iron for another 45 minutes of football as we look to earn a valuable win!

At full-time, hospitality area bars remain open, as well as the Iron Bar for all supporters.

The club shop and ticket office will also be open for a short period of time after the game, with Iron merchandise and match tickets for upcoming fixtures on sale.

We hope you have a brilliant time at Scunthorpe United!
