As revealed as part of the season ticket launch, we are giving fans who have supported the club by donating match ticket, season ticket money from the 2019-20 season or who paid for a season ticket for the 2020-21 season ticket, the chance to have their names on the Iron’s official third shirt.
Supporters need to opt-in to have their name included and eligible people that we have email details for have been sent the confirmation survey. If you believe you should have received this email, then please check your spam folder or you can complete the application form here by Friday, June 11, 2021.
In addition, these supporters will be able to pre-order the shirt at the reduced price of £25 with a code which can be requested by emailing sufctickets@scunthorpe-united.co.uk. The discount will be valid until the pre-order purchase deadline on June 11, 2021.
The club also appreciate that donating or purchasing a season ticket during the pandemic may not have been an option for everyone, or wasn’t possible for some of our youngest fans who don’t have to pay for their season ticket, so we are offering all supporters, young and old, local, national and international, the opportunity to have their name included in the design if they pre-order the shirt before the deadline of Friday, June 11, 2021. You can pre-order the shirt online now here with adult’s shirts priced at the usual £42 and juniors £36. Once you pre-order and have received your order number, you will need to complete the online permission form here.
The third shirt will be made by Macron, our official technical kit partner, and will be similar to the shirt that was voted as the second most popular away kit in the fans vote earlier in the year with a draft CAD pictured, although the final version will be slightly different and will include the supporter names incorporated into the shirt. It is a modern twist on the design from the 1985-87 seasons but in white. The shirts will be available to buy as a limited edition towards the end of the summer but supporters can guarantee one and have their own name included by pre-ordering now before the Wednesday, June 9, 2021 deadline.
Please share the message and help ensure all supporters who want to be part of this are informed. Permission is required to use their name on the shirt by June 11, 2021.
Supporters can pre-order the shirt now by visiting the club shop online.
All names must be submitted by Friday 11th June.
If you are eligible and do not want to be included on the shirt then you can confirm via email to sufctickets@scunthorpe-united.co.uk.
Terms and Conditions
Eligible supporters will not automatically be included in the shirt and should complete the form here. Supporters will need to submit one application per eligible person. Once submitted, all applications will be verified for eligibility and must meet the acceptable criteria to go onto the shirt. Nicknames are not permitted and it should be your commonly used name, whilst business names are also not permitted. Contact details will be required in the application in case we need to discuss further. Once submitted the approved name will be included in the design of the shirt although no guarantee of the exact location can be given.
For those who pre-order the shirt, once pre-ordered you will need to complete the permission form here which must be completed by Friday, June 11, 2021 along with your order number. Each shirt pre-ordered at full price shall be able to apply to have a name on their shirt (e.g. three shirts ordered = three names on the shirt). An order through the shop does not automatically add your name on the shirt and the permissions form must be submitted before the 9th June deadline.
Those eligible to get their name on the shirt from donating or purchasing a 2020-21 season ticket that had a monetary value are entitled to one discount code that will reduce the price of one shirt to £25. This offer expires on 9th June, after which usual prices will be applicable. The offer price does not entitle any additional names to be included.
Pre-orders cannot be cancelled but sizes can be exchanged when they arrive, subject to availability.
The club will not be responsible for printing errors that are not the fault of the club. In the unlikely event this does happen, re-prints will not be made and compensation will be in the form of a complimentary shirt or agreed alternative.
