John Busby will be the man in the middle for the Iron's home Sky Bet League Two encounter against Harrogate Town this Saturday (3pm kick-off).

The Oxfordshire-based official will travel to the Sands Venue Stadium for his 22nd game of the campaign and his sixth in Sky Bet League Two.

His first game of 2020-21 was Luton Town's 3-1 victory over Norwich City in the Carabao Cup. So far this season, he's officiated 21 games showing 56 yellow cards and five reds.

He's taken charge of a match involving the Iron on just five previous occasions in total, most recently against Mansfield Town and Forest Green Rovers (both away) last season. In the fixture with the Stags he showed five yellow cards, while in the game at the New Lawn he booked seven, including the sending off of Levi Sutton late on for his second yellow card of the game.

Meanwhile, he's refereed Harrogate Town on no previous occasions.

In 2019-20, he took charge of 33 games, issuing 123 yellow cards and five reds.

On Saturday, Busby will be assisted by Oliver Bickle and Martyn Holmes, while Abbas Khan has been appointed as the fourth official.
