The Merit League game between the Iron's Under-18s side and their Grimsby Town counterparts will now take place in three weeks time on Saturday, April 24th (11am kick-off).
The match had been due to take place this coming weekend and be the first to take place in the Merit League, but the Mariners' success in the Youth Alliance Cup has given them the opportunity to push this back.
They beat Huddersfield Town in midweek to advance to the Northern Final of the competition, which they will host against Rochdale in the coming days.
As a result, the Iron's academy side will first play league leaders Notts County away from home in the Merit League, with that game taking place on Saturday, April 10th.
