Brett Huxtable will be the man in the middle for the Iron's away league clash against Mansfield Town on Tuesday.
The Devon-based official will travel to the One Call Stadium for his 27th game of the campaign and his 11th in Sky Bet League Two. The current season is his fifth in the EFL.
His first game of the campaign was Charlton Athletic's 3-1 away win over Swindon Town in the Carabao Cup, showing three cautions on the day. His latest game was on Saturday, March 20th when he oversaw Stevenage's 3-1 home win over Carlisle United. He showed three yellows and one red on the day.
He was most recently fourth official to Darren Drysdale on Saturday in the game between Exeter City and Southend United.
He's taken charge of the Iron on just three previous occasions, with the last encounter the first time United won with him in charge. He showed three yellow cards - James Perch and Alex Gilliead getting the two for Scunthorpe - when Gilliead and Lee Novak netted in the 2-0 win. Six cautions have been issued across the three games.
Meanwhile, he's refereed Mansfield Town on five previous occasions. The last came earlier in the season in a 1-1 home draw against Southend United. Across the quintet of fixtures, he's shown 25 yellow cards.
In 2019-20, he took charge of 27 games, issuing 97 yellow cards and four reds. So far in this campaign, he has officiated in 26 encounters, showing 87 yellows and four reds, with all four dismissals coming in his last four games.
On Tuesday, Huxtable will be assisted by Martyn Holmes and Declan Ford, while Paul Stonier has been appointed as the fourth official.
