Mason was our sixth member to get the chance to take part, with the then-six-year-old featured in the new-look Junior Iron Mini Mag for our younger supporters. He also got the opportunity to interview forward Abo Eisa, asking him his choice of questions.

Age? Six
What's been the best part of being a JIC member? The opportunity to be in a club.
How long have you been supporting the Iron? I have supported the since last year.
Tell us about your first game. I was a mascot at the Barnsley game and thought it was England.
Tell us about your favourite game. My favourite game was when I was a mascot and got to play football on the pitch.
Who is your favourite Scunthorpe United player of all time? Andy Butler
Who is your favourite current Scunthorpe United player? Andy Butler
Tell us your favourite parts of a matchday… Getting a burger at half-time!
Who do you come to games with? I come to games with my mum, dad and brother.
Do you play football and if so, who for and what position do you play? I play in the garden with my brother. I like to smash him like I’m in defence.
Which game are you most looking forward to this season and why? Grimsby away because we go to the beach there!

What team(s) do you support? Manchester United.
What’s the proudest moment of your career so far? Scoring my first professional goal for Shrewsbury Town, which was against Bury in a game we drew 1-1.
What’s your favourite part of a match day? Playing the match, definitely!
Do you have a music soundtrack before kick-off? I just put all the songs I have on shuffle.
Who’s your best friend in football? I have a couple of good friends in football, but I’d have to say Arthur Gnahoua from my time at Shrewsbury.
