The 20-year-old has been with the club since October 2015, when he joined United as a youth team player before signing academy terms the following season.
The highly-rated goalkeeper had previously been with Hull City for seven years before that and signed his first professional contract with us in 2017 – 18 months ahead of the end of his scholarship.
He has enjoyed loan spells with Sheffield FC and Stocksbridge Park Steels and was a regular between the sticks for the Iron’s Under-23s last season, as well as featuring on the bench for the first team.
